What is a bounceback?

Modified on Tue, Jul 7 at 1:33 PM

A bounceback is a coupon or incentive you hand a customer to encourage them to come back, in other words, to "bounce back" into your store. It is one of the easiest ways to turn a one-time visit into a repeat customer.

How it works

When a customer checks out or completes a buy, ResaleAI can print a bounceback (for example, "$5 off your next purchase"). The customer brings it back on a future visit and redeems it, giving them a reason to return and giving you another sale.

Why use bouncebacks

  • They bring customers back during slower periods.
  • They reward people for selling or shopping with you.
  • Their usage is trackable under reports, so you can see exactly what is working.

Types of bouncebacks

  • Standard campaigns (recommended) print automatically based on rules you set.
  • Manual bouncebacks let you run a one-off promotion by hand.
    • These can be created as-needed in ResaleAI; great for buy campaigns, gift card promotions, and more that don't depend on specific dollar amounts.
